1. How We Handle Client Data

The firm collects information from prospective and active clients through three channels: (a) intake forms on this website, (b) email communications, (c) telephone consultations. All client communications are governed by Texas Disciplinary Rule 1.05 (confidentiality of information) and the attorney-client privilege.

• Storage: Active client matter information is stored in encrypted-at-rest practice management software with role-based access controls.
• Retention: Closed matter files are retained for the period required by State Bar of Texas record-retention guidance and applicable malpractice-coverage minimums.
• Destruction: Files retained beyond their required period are destroyed using cross-cut shredding (paper) or cryptographic erasure (electronic).
• Access: Client matter information is accessible only to attorneys and staff with a documented need-to-know on the matter.

2. Website Privacy & Tracking

This site uses minimal third-party services, each disclosed in our Privacy Policy. Specifically:

• Formspree (form ID xqewopjv) — receives intake form submissions on our behalf. Data subject to Formspree's privacy policy.
• Intaker — embedded chat widget for initial client engagement. Account ID landllawgroup.
• Google Analytics 4 with Consent Mode v2 — anonymized site analytics. Cookies set only on user consent.
• Google Fonts & YouTube (privacy-enhanced via youtube-nocookie.com) — embedded resources.
• Belvionetta — click tracking for marketing attribution (anonymized).

The site does not sell user data. We do not run third-party advertising trackers or surveillance pixels beyond what's listed above.

3. Security Posture

• HTTPS-only: Site enforces HTTPS via .htaccess redirect and HSTS headers (max-age=31536000; includeSubDomains; preload).
• Content Security Policy: Strict CSP limiting script, frame, connect, and form-action sources to known-good origins. Updated regularly as third-party requirements change.

• COOP / COEP / X-Frame-Options: Cross-origin isolation directives configured for clickjacking and side-channel protection.
• Permissions-Policy: Microphone, camera, payment, and USB capabilities denied by default; geolocation limited to first-party only.

This site uses AI tools as drafting aids only. Every legal-information page is substantively reviewed and approved by a Texas-licensed attorney before publication. AI-generated text is never published as-is on legal-content pages. See our Editorial Process for details.

The firm respects AI-bot directives via robots.txt (explicit allowlist for legitimate AI search crawlers including OpenAI's GPTBot and ChatGPT-User, Anthropic's ClaudeBot, Perplexity, Google-Extended) and via /.well-known/ai.txt.

5. Government Information Requests

L and L Law Group has not received any law enforcement or government information request directed at this website's user data during the reporting period. Were such a request received, we would respond consistent with the attorney-client privilege, applicable Texas law, and the U.S. and Texas Constitutions, and would seek to notify affected users where legally permissible.

6. Data Breach History

L and L Law Group has not experienced a known data breach affecting client information or website user data during the reporting period. In the event of a breach, the firm would comply with breach-notification requirements under the Texas Identity Theft Enforcement and Protection Act (TX Bus. & Comm. Code Ch. 521) and any other applicable law, providing prompt notification to affected individuals and the Texas Attorney General as required.
